Update: On Monday, 28 November at 19:00 EET the Nordic Game Discovery Contest Season VI Grand Finals kick-off as a highlight of the Game Wave Festival in Tallinn. You can also watch the finals for free – live streamed on the NGDC website at discovery-contest.nordicgame.com.
This November, the NGDC’s sixth season finals debut at the popular Game Wave Festival in Tallinn, Estonia. Three selected season six finalists will compete before a live audience, with an on-stage panel of judges grilling the contestants with questions, also streamed online as the teams battle for the prestigious NGDC Game of the Year title.
Three NGDC Season VI finalists have been selected by a group of experts from the pool of games that qualified during the season, which kicked-off last December with a competition during Africa Games Week in Cape Town.
Previous seasons’ winners of the NGDC Game of the Year include acclaimed titles such as:
You Suck at Parking from Happy Volcano (Belgium)
Drawkanoid by QCF Design (South Africa)
Summoners Fate by D20 Studios (US)
