Last chance: NG24 Spring speaker call

Nordic Game welcomes submissions to the NG24 Spring speaker program, online and at historic Slagthuset in Malmö on 21-24 May. The submission deadline is 15 April, so apply now!

Nordic Game

Our twenty year anniversary edition NG24 Spring on 21-24 May, both online and on-stage at historic Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden will be a huge celebration of everything Nordic Game, with an expanded program and expo halls, new meeting areas, great networking events and much, much more.

NG24 Spring speaker call
The NG24 Spring speaker program will include on-stage talks in the venue and pre-recorded sessions available online.

Find descriptions of our on-stage and online programs for this May below and submit to one or both by completing the respective application form.

Nordic Game

On-stage talks at Slagthuset in Malmö, 22-24 May
Speaker sessions in the venue at Nordic Game (30 minutes with Q&A) will consist of talks from industry experts in the following and prioritized areas: design, programming, AI, art, technology, and business.

All talks should be thought-provoking, entertaining and as to-the-point as possible. Due to this years’ anniversary format, the major theme of NG24 Spring is “Past, Present, and Future”, which means that talks with a focus on this somehow will be prioritized (as a good example, a post-mortem of a great game from the past will have increased chances of being accepted).

Furthermore, the title and talk description of the submitted talk should be succinct and appealing.

The pending list for this type of talk is very long and competition for available slots is fierce, so send us your strongest title and talk description possible!

Apply here. The submission deadline is 15 April.

Nordic Game

Pre-recorded online sessions, from 21 May
Our “Nordic Game for All” theme returns, as the NG24 Spring online program embraces newcomers to the industry; up-and-coming developers, students, professionals from other fields, all are welcome!

Submitted talks should be no more than 20 minutes long, recorded by yourself and should share an experience, challenge and/or solution you’ve encountered that you see as a valuable “lesson learned” in your professional development.

Apply here. The submission deadline is 15 April.

All submissions will be considered by the NG24 Spring editorial board and applicants will be contacted as their talks are reviewed. Good luck!
