The organisers of this year’s Nordic Game conference are launching an exciting new addition to our annual games industry event: the NG19 Dinner Experience.
Nordic Game’s Gala Dinner, a very popular sit-down dinner tradition for circa one thousand conference attendees each May, expands this year to become the Dinner Experience, combining the fun and excitement of dining with industry peers at Nordic Game with a new venue and expanded dinner/networking/entertainment concept, reflecting both the unity and diversity that has come to define Nordic Game.
What’s the Nordic Game Dinner Experience all about?
The Dinner Experience at NG19 will center on dining, networking and entertainment at one of Malmö’s premier event venues, Moriska Paviljongen (Moriskan). The evening will include an indoor/outdoor ”food bazaar” with Nordic, American, Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine, ”concept bars” serving everything from coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages to beer and high-end cocktails and special entertainment live on stage.
How about the Nordic Game Party?
Our popular Nordic Game Party also returns this May, immediately following the Dinner Experience at Moriskan. Entertainment includes a live performance of “Of Bird and Cage” (formerly “The Birdcage”) – a rock/metal album produced as a video game, featuring Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N’ Roses), Rob van der Loo (Epica), Arnold Nesis (Capricia) and others on stage.
As a special treat, popular YouTube personality and gamer Sam Chaotic will play and live-stream “Of Bird and Cage” while the band plays the score on stage. Along with DJs, special guests, marioke and more, this year’s event promises a night to remember.
