The AI Track is returning for NG27
AI continues to accelerate, and so are the conversations around what it means for games, studios, teams and players. After a breakthrough first edition at NG26, the AI Track is back for Nordic Game 2027!
Last year, Nordic Game introduced its first dedicated AI Track, creating a rare space where the Nordics games community could come together to share what they’re building, testing, learning, and questioning. The response showed us there’s still a lot more to talk about. So we’re doing it again, and we’re opening the floor even wider.

The NG27 AI Track, curated by ImmerSynth, will return as part of Nordic Game 2027, taking place 25-28 May 2027 in Malmö, Sweden.
Last year’s track welcomed studio leaders, developers, founders, researchers and industry experts from the Nordics and beyond. Conversations spanned AI in studio workflows and game development to leadership, legal and legislative questions, the future of player experiences and the realities of bringing these tools into live production. For NG27, we want to keep that conversation going.
Together with ImmerSynth, we’ll be bringing together diverse voices from across the games industry, with a focus on real experiences, useful ideas, and open conversations about where AI is heading. We want to hear about what’s working, what’s proving difficult, what people are experimenting with, and what the industry still needs to figure out.
Most importantly, the AI Track remains a place where the games community can exchange ideas and learn from one another, focusing on open and honest dialogue.
And some of those conversations really stayed with our audience. One attendee shared this after an AI Track session at NG26:
“Without a doubt one of the most inspiring sessions of the event. While many AI talks focus on risks, limitations, and caution, this was the opposite: someone who has fully embraced the technology and openly shared how they work. For me, this session alone was worth the ticket price and the trip to Malmö.”
