We Don’t Say It Enough – You Shape This
For more than two decades Nordic Game has been shaped by the people who join year after year. It’s something we’ve always known, but not something we’ve said enough. So this year we wanted to take a step back and recognise and celebrate what truly defines Nordic Game. Not just as an event but as a community that continues to show up, contribute and shape what it becomes. Because the reality is simple – Nordic Game wouldn’t be what it is without the people in it. Not just through talks, meetings or business done on the floor but through everything that happens in between – the conversations that continue, the familiar faces, and the new connections that grow into something more over time.

Nordic Game isn’t just one thing
When we looked back at how people describe Nordic Game one thing became clear – there isn’t just one version of it. For some it feels like coming home, for others it’s where connections are built and momentum starts to take shape, and for many it’s the conversations, the shared moments and the energy that stays with you long after the event ends. Those words don’t come from us. They come from the community, and this felt like the right moment to bring them forward and celebrate them properly.
As we kept returning to those words and experiences it slowly came together in a simple line:
“X. This is what our community builds.”
A simple structure that allows us to highlight and celebrate the different dimensions of what Nordic Game is depending on who you ask – one word at a time, one perspective at a time, all rooted in real experiences. Because Nordic Game has never been just one thing – it’s everything that happens when people come together and keep coming back.
You’ll see this celebration come to life from now across social media and in the weeks leading up to NG26, as well as during the event across screens, in the space, through the people who make it happen, and in the conversations that continue to shape it.
The fish – where words surface
There’s also a small character at the heart of it – the fish. It is a symbol of Nordic Game, and it will carry the voices of the community… the words, the moments and the experiences that define Nordic Game. When it speaks, it does so in small moments, in bubbles that rise to the surface, each one carrying a word shaped by the community itself – a reflection of what people have felt, shared and built together.
In many ways it mirrors what Nordic Game has always been – a place where ideas take shape, where conversations travel, where something small can grow into something much bigger. And just like the community itself, it is always in motion. Each word, as it surfaces, becomes part of the story, a reminder of what this community builds together. So whether it’s CONNECTIONS, MOMENTS, TOGETHERNESS or something else entirely this is what our community builds – a celebration of everything that happens when this community comes together and everything it continues to build year after year.
