Spelkollektivet Invites Indie Teams to Pre-NG26 Mentorship Week
We’re proud to announce that Malmö-based Indie Hub Spelkollektivet is once again co-organising the Nordic Game Conference. And for next year’s edition, NG26 on 26-29 May, the collective is introducing a brand-new initiative that we’re truly excited about: A dedicated mentorship program for game developers.

Spelkollektivet is a non-profit Swedish developer collective and co-working space based in Malmö, dedicated to supporting indie game creators with affordable workspace, community events, mentorship, and practical resources. Founded in 2017, it has grown into one of the Nordic region’s most loved indie hubs, housing dozens of small teams and solo devs, running regular game jams, showcases, and educational initiatives. As a long-time partner and co-organizer of Nordic Game, Spelkollektivet plays a key role in strengthening the local and regional indie scene, with a strong focus on accessibility, collaboration, and helping developers level up their pitching and publishing skills.

This is the dedicated mentorship program:
Spelkollektivet is offering a limited number of teams the chance to join the collective with one representative for the team for one week of pitch and presentation training leading up to the conference. The goal is to provide meaningful support at the lowest possible cost – and we’re thrilled to make this opportunity accessible for just 649€!
What’s included:
- A Business Pass to Nordic Game Conference 2026. (including access to the meeting system) (regular price is ~649€ excl VAT)
- A booth spot with Spelkollektivet to showcase your game to all conference visitors, we’ll also provide all the hardware. (regular price is ~499€ excl VAT)
- One free week of accommodation at Spelkollektivet. (18-25 May) (regular price is ~260€ incl VAT)
- Mentoring and pitch training throughout the week: mentors will guide you to hone your pitching skills, fine-tune your pitch deck, become more confident and tackle all kinds of questions. (regular price is ~priceless)
- A practical publisher-meeting guide to help you make the most of the conference.
The collective is also welcoming mentors to join the program. Mentors will receive free accommodation (May 16-25) at Spelkollektivet as well as a Business Pass to the event.

Nordic Game would not be gathering the games industry in Malmö each spring without the enthusiastic participation of thousands of talented game developers from the Nordic region and across the globe for over two decades. Thank you!
We’re also tremendously grateful for the unwavering support of our exhibitors, sponsors and partners. Many of them have already signed-up for our upcoming show, but we’re always ready to welcome new partnerships.
