Saving The Games Industry 2026
Ste Curran is…
SAVING THE GAMES INDUSTRY 2026

And so are you.
In 2025 we SAVED THE GAMES INDUSTRY at Nordic Game. Now we have to do it all over again*.
Attendees to NG26 are invited, once more, to SAVE THE GAMES INDUSTRY. Last year we passed the following resolutions:
* A release date for a game cannot be changed under any circumstances
* Live service games must run for at least two years from the day of release, mortgaged against the CEO’s house
* Games courses should focus on AI, vibe coding and crying
* Hollywood must make a videogame version of the Last Of Us TV show
And more. Those proposals are now law. Without them the games industry would be gone.
On Thursday afternoon we gather again to vote on a new series of industry-shaking suggestions. You can submit yours HERE: https://forms.gle/R9WLS4pKQUe1EYGp7
They can be big or small, serious or outlandish. All contributions will be anonymised in the name of democracy and personal decency. Send something now and help create a better future for all of us.
Thank you for your hard work. See you in the Theatre.
*Oh, and if you’d rather KILL THE GAMES INDUSTRY, don’t worry: we’ll be doing that in the same place at 17:30 CEST on Wednesday. Drinks provided by Sharkmob, grab one at the restaurant, then join us in the theatre. See you there, too.

Join our exhibitors, sponsors and partners
Nordic Game would not be gathering the games industry in Malmö each spring without the enthusiastic participation of thousands of talented game developers from the Nordic region and across the globe for over two decades. Thank you!
We’re also tremendously grateful for the unwavering support of our exhibitors, sponsors and partners. Many of them have already signed-up for our upcoming show, but we’re always ready to welcome new partnerships.
Contact us here for some great opportunities on exhibitor, sponsor, group and partner packages for our next event and beyond.
