Nordic Game presents a message from Mi5 Communications:
It all started in the 80s when the fresh-faced and coffee-loving Swede Marcus Legler took his first steps within the Games Industry.
Fast forward 30 plus years and www.mi5communications.com is the leading PR agency for games in the Nordics, focusing on the opportunities and challenges of Digital Entertainment and Games.
“It has been a wild ride seeing how the games industry has blossomed here in the Nordics to become a vital part of the region’s economy, and its contribution to entertainment and amazing experiences,” says Marcus.
With nine communication experts within PR, Marketing, Event Management and Influencer Marketing, Mi5 Communications has since 2005 helped launch everything from the Danish indie gem Gerda to AAA releases such as Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and Batman: Arkham Knight, not to forget recent hit Hogwarts Legacy just to mention a few.
The Nordic region is the home of Mi5 Communications, and the agency has a vast network of contacts in all countries and regions across the globe.
“It is of essence to understand the local nuances of the media logic, consumer behaviors, and flavors,” Marcus adds. “This is why we work with a network of other talented agencies covering the rest of the world if a client wants to reach beyond the Nordic realm.”
This year, Marcus looks forward to meeting new and old faces from the industry at Nordic Game over Italian coffee or German beer. You can’t miss his signature beard and he is always up for a chat about games communications challenges or just reminiscing the olden times when Leisure Suit Larry was the star.
If you happen to stumble upon him in Malmö, don’t hesitate to say hi!
