NGDC contestants ready for BIG Festival Brazil

The fifth qualifier of this season’s Nordic Game Discovery Contest will take place on 10 July as part of the BIG Festival in Brazil.

The qualifier will be streamed live with three judges onstage at the venue in Brazil, as NGDC host Jacob Riis as well as the three selected contestants participate remotely.

A host of very promising games were submitted to pitch at the qualifier, with three games were selected by the NGDC review board:

Star Drifters (Poland) with their game Lumencraft
9heads Game Studios (Brazil) with their game No Captain Allowed
Dracma Studios (Mexico) with their game Candle Knight

The NGDC qualifier at BIG Festival in Brazil takes place on Sunday, 10 July at 18:40 CEST (13:40 local time). All three contestants will also be featured in the soon-to-be-announced, digital Nordic Game Discovery Content Expo, with the winner of the qualifier earning a seat in the NGDC Season VI Grand Finals this November.

NGDC Season VI is sponsored by Xsolla, Tencent Games, GTR, Nordic Game Ventures and ifairs, in partnership with Games Branding and 80 Level.
