NG26 Main Stage Host Announced
NG26 Main Stage Host Announced
Nordic Game is thrilled to announce Zahrah Isaacs as the host for the main stage at NG26 Spring (26–29 May 2026) at Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden.
A dynamic presenter and producer with a blend of media and games industry experience, Zahrah brings energy, storytelling expertise, and a genuine passion for games to the role. We sat down with her to learn more about her journey and excitement for NG26.

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your career this far?
I’m Zahrah, a former games producer with a background in television and radio broadcasting. I started my career in South Africa in live media production and presenting, which gave me a deep appreciation for storytelling, timing, and connecting with people in real time. After moving to Sweden, I transitioned into the games industry, working as a producer within games and supported Studio Head functions at Thunderful Games.
Games have always been part of my life — sometimes front and centre, and sometimes simply a way to unwind at the end of a long day. That relationship with games, both professional and personal, helped me build a strong network within the Swedish games industry, which has now led me back to presenting. It really feels like coming full circle.
What’s your all-time favorite game, and why?
That’s a hard one — and it honestly changes depending on the era. My very first “game” wasn’t digital at all, but 5 Stones, which I played growing up in South Africa. As I got older, I fell in love with games like Wonder Boy, Duke Nukem, and Ratchet & Clank. I was heavily influenced by what my brothers were playing.
More recently, Blue Prince really captured me. The puzzles, the mystery, the experience had me glued for at least a month. I still have my notebook handy as I wait for that final red envelope to collect!
You have previously joined Nordic Game as an attendee. Any good advice to first timers at NG?
Nordic Game is wonderfully dense and between the talks, showcases and conversations, it’s easy to overwhelm yourself. Pick a few sessions that genuinely excite you, leave space between them, and allow yourself to be present.
Also: talk to people. Everyone is there because they care about games so that’s already common ground to break the ice and make new friends, connections and perhaps even form new studios!
What are you looking forward to the most, hosting the talks from the NG26 main stage?
Bringing a different kind of energy. I often get told that I’m fun and bubbly and I think that supports the energy of games – fun and memorable.
I’m especially excited to help spotlight the voices on stage, create an atmosphere where speakers feel supported, while also making sure the audience feel invited into the conversation. This is my first major hosting role in Sweden, and I’m incredibly honoured – and very excited – to be part of it.
