NG Conversations: AI is hotter than July

Nordic Game reveals the first in a series of Nordic Game Conversations, presented exclusively in the speaker program at NG23 Spring on 23-26 May. Join us!

Artificial intelligence has been part of game development for as long as gaming has existed, but in recent years the interest for the topic has gone through the roof, in parallel with the technological progress made in the field.

Thus AI will of course be a hot topic at NG23 Spring as well – and it’s a great pleasure for the organisers to announce that two AI experts have joined the conference, to meet live onstage for a deep conversation about AI, the games industry, and the approach to using it when developing games.

Christoffer Holmgård, CEO and co-founder of AI specialist company modl.ai, as well as co-owner and chair of Danish games studio Die Gute Fabrik (Where Is My Heart?, Mutazione) meets:

Fredrik Präntare, CEO and founder of Pugstorm (creators of million-unit selling game Core Keeper) and co-founder of Dimfrost Studio, has a background in AI research with positions at Linköping University and the Wallenberg AI Program, and was a visiting researcher at Stanford’s Algorithmic Game Theory Lab.
