Kingmakers – Engineering a Viral Game

Kingmakers is that hybrid third-person shooter/RTS game you use modern weaponry to fight the medieval armies. The game was announced last February, immediately went viral, and is currently a 15th most wishlisted game on Steam with a 1.25M wishlists – we are currently heading to release later this year. In my talk, I want to provide deep insights into indie publishing kitchen and tell we at the indie publisher tinyBuild worked together with EQ Games to engineer one of the most unique marketing campaigns of 2024 & 2025.
