Unionen Returns as Exhibitor at Nordic Game 2027
Nordic Game is once again bringing the industry together in Malmö next spring, and one familiar name is already confirmed for the show floor. Unionen is returning as an exhibitor at NG27, making them one of the first organisations to lock in a booth for the event at Slagthuset on 25-28 May 2027.

For years, Nordic Game has been the home turf gathering for developers, publishers and professionals from across the Nordics and beyond. The expo is where conversations happen between sessions, not only about new games and business opportunities, but also about the people who make the industry run. As a returning exhibitor, Unionen has become part of that conversation, using their booth to connect with developers, artists, designers and leads on workplace issues that matter to the community.
We spoke with Sebastian Brandt, Ombudsman at Unionen, about their return to Nordic Game.
Nordic Game (NG): For the ones not knowing about Unionen, please describe who you are and what you’re doing?
Sebastian Brandt: Unionen is Sweden’s largest trade union for white-collar employees in the private sector. We represent employees across the Swedish games industry, from developers and designers to producers and business professionals. We work to secure fair working conditions, collective agreements, and salary amongst other things.

NG: We’re so happy you are exhibiting again at Nordic Game! What can NG27 attendees expect when visiting your booth?
Brandt: Stop by our booth to meet the people behind Unionen’s work in the games industry. Whether you are a developer, artist, designer or lead, we are happy to talk about collective agreements and how we can help to make your workplace better!
NG: What’s your best memories and/or experiences from exhibiting at Nordic Game?
Brandt: Honestly, it is the people! Every year we meet passionate people from the industry and talk about workplace and health. The energy, creativity and openness of the community always leave us inspired.
Their return continues a presence that has grown alongside the Nordic games scene. Whether you are stopping by for the first time or have met the team at previous editions, the Unionen booth at NG27 is open for conversations about how to build better workplaces in the industry.
NG27 takes place 25-28 May at Slagthuset in Malmö. Registration is open now: The best prices end on 1 November, so secure your pass while the current rates are available.
See you at NG27!
