#SelfieTennis started out last October as a one-day prototype for the HTC Vive – a VR kit developed in collaboration between Valve and HTC – and evolved to become the first game to be published by Copenhagen-based VRUnicorns in partnership with Bandello. Now the studio is displaying the VR title in the Valve booth at GDC in San Francisco.
In #SelfieTennis, a room-scale VR game for the HTC Vive, players literally play against themselves. Or more explicitly: with themselves. Every time a player hits a ball into the opposite side of the field, they are “teleported” to the other side in a position to return their own ball over the net.

#SelfieTennis will be available for pre-order shortly after GDC via Steam, according to the studio. Journalists interested in playing #SelfieTennis at GDC can contact VRUnicorns for an appointment here.
