Swedish Paradox Interactive and Finnish Colossal Order have revealed that Cities: Skylines, a city simulation game for PC, Mac and Linux, will launch on 10 March.
Players of Cities: Skylines control endless sandbox city-building across massive maps, allowing them to design and manage the metropolis of their dreams. Vast backdrops provide players with countless ways to improve and expand their cities, while extensive modding support allows players to design everything from in-game parks and buildings to new landscapes.
“Colossal Order has done an amazing job in developing this game, and their talent and passion clearly shows in what they have created,” said Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester. “It is no exaggeration to say everyone internally at Paradox has been playing this game for months through every stage of development – it is quite addictive – and we are genuinely thrilled that Cities: Skylines will soon be in the hands of players everywhere.”
