Uppsala-based Teotl Studios has unveiled their upcoming title The Solus Project at E3 in Los Angeles. The first-person single-player survival game will be jointly developed and published with Czech studio Grip Digital.
In The Solus Project, Earth is on the brink of destruction and the player is stranded on a deserted alien planet. As mankind’s last hope, the player must find a way to survive the harsh environment, unravel the deep secrets of a seemingly abandoned alien civilization and send a signal back home to save the human race. But is the player truly alone?
“The Solus Project is a work of love for us. Two independent teams set out to create their dream game, with the goal of building a truly unique experience and matching the visuals of AAA games,” said Grip Digital CEO Jakub Mikyska. “After more than two years of development, we are now ready to show The Solus Project publicly for the first time. We hope that the players will enjoy our atmospheric world full of mystery.”
