Nine studios will represent Switzerland this year at Nordic Game, forming the biggest #SWISSGAMES delegation ever. An initiative from the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, #SWISSGAMES promotes the Swiss games cluster at home and abroad.
The #SWISSGAMES core mission is to help Swiss developers gain visibility, build relationships with the international games industry and access global markets. Besides Nordic Game, #SWISSGAMES organises and supports Swiss participations in more than 20 events per year, including GDC and Gamescom.
While Swiss start-ups like Artanim, Birdly, OZWE Games and Apelab have received international attention, a new generation of young Swiss game developers is rising and ready to reach similar success, taking the #SWISSGAMES cluster to new levels.
Moreover, global leaders like Facebook, Apple and Magic Leap have recognised the excellence of Swiss research in digital arts and technology by locating offices in Switzerland.

#SWISSGAMES reception
On Wednesday, 23 May from 18:00-20:00, the #SWISSGAMES at NG18 will also hold a reception together with the Swiss Embassy in Sweden, Switzerland Global Enterprise and Pro Helvetia at United Spaces STUDIO, Nordensköldsgatan 24, Malmö. As a special treat, Melodie Mousset, Sphery and DarkLight will showcase their latest games at the event.
