The NG21 May speaker call application deadline is 31 March, so apply now!
Building on our online experience with last year’s editions of Nordic Game, we’ve opened the Nordic Game 2021 speaker program for submissions to our spring event with some exciting and important changes to the format for NG21 on 26-28 May.
Note: The NG21 May speaker call application deadline is 31 March.
Speaker sessions at NG21 in May will consist of talks from industry experts within the following areas: tech, programming, production, art, audio and design. You can choose between three types of talks:
Live streamed talk
A 20 minute talk (live remotely or from the Nordic Game studio), concluding with 5 minutes live Q&A, presented by the Nordic Game hosts in the studio from questions submitted via our Discord channel. Talks in the live stream work best when they are thought provoking, entertaining and to-the-point.
Furthermore, the title and talk description should be as succinct and appealing as possible. After each conference day, live streamed talks will be uploaded to the NG21 May video archive for viewing by Nordic Game pass holders thereafter.
Pre-recorded talk
A 30-60 min talk recorded by the speaker(s) prior to NG21 May. This format is best for in-depth and detailed talks. Pre-recorded talks will be accessible to NG21 May pass holders at any time during the conference.
Live streamed talk with complimentary pre-recorded talk
New for NG21! Submit two talks on the same subject or area, with a live streamed session designed to grab the attention of the live audience, then a pre-recorded, in-depth talk for viewers to dive deeper into your topic.
Q&A on the Nordic Game Discord
In the Speaker’s Lounge on the Nordic Game Discord channel, each speaker (both live stream and pre-recorded talks) gets allocated a time slot to interact with NG21 May pass holders for Q&A and networking.
Apply here – and welcome to Nordic Game 2021!
Note: The submission deadline is 31 March. All submissions will be considered by the NG21 May editorial board and applicants contacted as their talks are reviewed. Good luck!
