Nordisk Film Games has named Sofie Filt Læntver, currently managing director of the Danish games and interactive industry NPO Interactive Denmark, as Director of Partnerships.
Since 2017, Nordisk Film/Egmont subsidiary Nordisk Film Games has invested more than 150 million USD (130 million EUR) in Nordic game studios. With Sofie Filt Læntver at the helm, the company plans to expand their business development activities and forge new strategic partnerships.
“We have, in less than two years, built a sizeable portfolio of computer game studios and we have an appetite for more investments,” says Nordisk Film Games managing director Mikkel Weider. “Now it is time to develop strategic partnerships. We also want to strengthen collaboration across our investments and work closer with our network of gaming experts. Sofie Filt Læntver will inject deep knowledge, innovation power and unique networking capabilities to Nordisk Film Games. I am excited to have her onboard.”
“Nordisk Film Games has quickly made its mark on the Nordic computer games scene, and it will be thrilling to develop this position further,” says Sofie Filt Læntver. “There are great opportunities in collaboration, business development and new initiatives that will create added value for Nordisk Film, the individual game studios (in the portfolio) and the Nordic games industry as a whole.”
