Sweden Game Arena and Nordic Game have announced a partnership to host the Nordic Game Discovery Contest on 21 October at Sweden Game Conference 2016 in Skövde, Sweden. The winner will earn a place in the Nordic Game Discovery Contest Finals at next year’s Nordic Game conference, 17-19 May 2017.
“I think the Nordic Game Discovery Contest is a great opportunity for companies to get their game projects discovered,” says Sweden Game Arena project manager Magnus Ling, who runs Sweden Game Conference in Skövde. “We have already a great line-up of exciting talks and events for this year’s conference, and the NGDC fits perfectly into what we have to offer.”
“Sweden Game Conference is a great event with excellent opportunities for the attendees to learn more from and get connected with the Swedish games industry,” adds Nordic Game 2017 program director Jacob Riis. “It’s a perfect stop for the Nordic Game Discovery Contest tour. We hope to see a lot of exciting projects entering the competition and battling on stage!”
