Danish independent developer Full Control announced today that the second expansion for Space Hulk: Ascension will launch in February for Windows PC, Mac and Linux on Steam.
The Salamanders expansion unlocks the “Salamander Chapter” featuring over 30 hours of content, and brings 20 new unique story missions and 20 flash missions for players to conquer in Space Hulk: Ascension.
Based on the best-selling board game set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Space Hulk: Ascension is a 3D digital turn-based strategy game featuring reworked mechanics and a host of new features, including RPG progression and new “Genestealer” variations, as well as new rules and mission structures.
“This is our most exciting chapter release to date, with a bucket load of new content for Space Hulk: Ascension players,” said Full Control CEO Thomas Hentschel Lund. “The 3D models of the “Salamanders” are fantastic with lots of new details, and their scorched skin and bright red eyes make them stand out as a force to be reckoned with in the iconic Space Hulk universe.”
