Update: The NGDC deadline for QUO VADIS in Berlin, Germany is 25 March – apply now!
On 8 April, the first day of the upcoming QUO VADIS game development and business conference (part of gamesweekberlin), the Nordic Game Discovery Contest returns to Germany for the third season’s fourteenth qualifier.
“It will be great to be back in Berlin,” says NGDC host and Nordic Game CCO Jacob Riis. “It will be the second time we host the NGDC at QUO VADIS, and I can’t wait to see and meet all the great game studios present. It will also be fun to experience how our new contest format will be received by the contestants and audience in Germany.”
“We are happy to provide NGDC with a platform to make excellent game titles more visible on an international scale,” says Booster Space founder and CEO Michael Liebe, QUO VADIS and gamesweekberlin organiser. “Let’s make the contestants coming out of the Berlin qualifier the best Malmö has ever seen, and looking forward to discovering new and exciting games!”
The winning game will earn a seat in the NGDC Grand Finals at Nordic Game 2019, 22-24 May in Malmö, Sweden, as well as prizes from PR specialists Plan of Attack and influencer marketing platform Matchmade.
Are you developing or have you already developed a game that deserves more attention than it’s received so far? And are you attending QUO VADIS? If so, submit your game and prepare to go on stage for the fourteenth qualifying round of NGDC Season III – and maybe all the way to the finals at NG19 in May.
