On 16 September, five game companies battled live on stage at the GameOn conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, in the second qualifier of the Nordic Game Discovery Contest (NGDC) Season 2.
Each nominated developer pitched their nominated game in front of a panel of experts, including Kirill Stadnik from Wargaming.net and Finnish studio veteran Ilari Kuittinen of Housemarque fame.
In the end, Lithuanian developer Dbabicius came out on top with their puzzle game PyroMind, described as “a strange combination of the classic Snake, Minesweeper and Pong, where you’re tasked with defusing bombs and evading chain reactions, and where one mistake costs you everything.”
Nordic Game’s Jacob Riis of congratulating Dmitrijus Babicius from Dbabicius.

Dbabicius is now ready to go on to the NGDC Finals at next year’s Nordic Game conference. Big congrats to Dbabicius and see you at NG18!
