Danish digital gaming subscription service OnePlay has launched in Denmark, offering a yearly gaming subscription model that can be ordered on their website or brought in a boxed version at retailers.
OnePlay, touted as “the Netflix of gaming”, offers users the chance to play more than a 1,000 titles for PC and Android devices for a small yearly or monthly fee – or even for free at local libraries. OnePlay features a broad range of indie titles, kids’ games and blockbusters to download and play.
OnePlay also aims to grow the number of Nordic publishers and developers. Content providers just need to deliver a DRM free version of their game(s), and OnePlay makes sure to add protection and take care of selling and/or lending the title(s).
“It has been great experiencing our successful beta launch in USA, now we look forward to rolling out the service in USA, Europe, Latin America and Australia/New Zealand,” says OnePlay CEO Lasse Jensen. “As a gamer I prefer to relax when sitting down to play. I want to be able to play offline if I feel like it and as hassle free as possible. That’s our goal: an easy and affordable way to enjoy gaming, while assuring that publishers find it attractive to be part of.”
Denmark’s OnePlay is a leading digital gaming subscription service, offering users access to download and play 1000+ premium games for PC and Android devices.
OnePlay has offices in Las Vegas, USA and Denmark. For more information, visit www.oneplay.com.
