Finnish Rovio Entertainment and Swedish Resolution Games have announced Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs and Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs, two multi-platform releases that bring virtual and augmented reality to the beloved Angry Birds franchise, currently celebrating its tenth anniversary.
Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs immerses players in new virtual reality experience of Angry Birds, and Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs allows players to overlay Angry Birds levels onto their own surroundings.

“This is going to be a big year for not only VR and AR games,” says Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm, “but the visual computing space as a whole, and we’re thrilled to be helping lead the way.”
Now available for Windows Mixed Reality headsets, Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs will also launch for PlayStation VR on 26 March.

Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs launches later this year for iOS devices.
