Nordic Game presents a message from the ROM Utrecht Region:
The ROM Utrecht Region is preparing to host a delegation of 11 Dutch companies at Nordic Game: Studio Mantasaur, Deloryan BV, Marijenburg Games, Martijn van Zwieten, High Priority, Wikkl, Linx Interactive, Codeglue, House of Secrets, Tom Schipper, and Flavour/Hackshield. These talented game studios and service providers from The Netherlands represent the Provinces of Utrecht and South/North Holland.
What makes these companies unique is their approach to creating games and providing their service. Most game developers graduated from a school of art with a focus on gaming. You will see this in the unique art style of the games and business savvy ideas. Others have over 10 years of experience in the industry and have worked with the biggest companies and collaborated with renowned game studios and know how to make a game successful.
Furthermore, The Netherlands has a supportive business environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship. There are several startup incubators and accelerators in the country that provide funding, mentorship, and resources to help new businesses get off the ground and help make the industry thrive. Utrecht Region has a vibrant and diverse gaming culture, with a strong community of gamers and game developers who collaborate and share ideas and now ROM Utrecht Region backs the industry and together we are able to be present in such large numbers at the Nordic Game.
