The Nordic Game Institute has confirmed Nordic Game Program development support of one million Danish crowns (DKK) for 2015.
The Nordic Game Institute has managed to extend the game funding program, which was earlier believed to end last year, with a budget re-allocation approved by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
Five projects will receive 200,000 DKK each. Creative, quality game projects will be selected, with an emphasis on titles aimed at preschoolers, that display diversity in characters (differences in sex, ethnic background, sexual orientation, etc.) and/or that have a clear foundation in Nordic cultural traditions.
The application deadline for Nordic Game Program funding is 1 April.
