
Welcome to the 2015 edition of the Nordic Game Awards! A highlight of the Nordic Game conference in Malmö, Sweden on 20-22 May, the award show this year takes place in the Unreal Theatre, the main auditorium of Slagthuset, on 21 May at 18:00. Host of the show will be Leigh Alexander, journalist, author and editor-in-chief for the re-launched Boing Boing website Offworld.
Leigh will hand out prizes in six categories. Here are the nominated games:

New Nordic Game Indie Sensation 2015
The purpose of this award is to recognise new talent from the Nordic region. The nominated games in this category will be chosen through an application process led by Copenhagen Game Collective, curators of Nordic Game Indie Night. Eight games will be nominated, and they can be play-tested and voted for by the public during Nordic Game Indie Night on 20 May.
About the Nordic Game Awards
The Nordic Game Awards is organised by the Nordic Game Institute in cooperation with Nordic Game Resources and the Nordic Game conference. The Nordic Game Institute consists of the following game producer associations in the region: Dataspelsbranschen (SE), Icelandic Gaming Industry (IS), Neogames (FI), Spillprodusentforeningen (NO) and Producentforeningen (DK).
The organisers appoint the NGA jury, this year with the following members: Bjarki Thor Jónsson (Iceland), Jon Cato Lorentzen (Norway), Kerstin Alex (Sweden), Sonja Ängeslevä (Finland) and Søren Staal Balslev (Denmark).
