Nordic Game 2015 final program unveiled

Nordic Game 2014

More than 90 speakers in the line-up for Nordic Game 2015 as the complete program schedule for Europe’s most relevant industry conference is revealed.

Chris Avellone’s keynote about rolling the dice on Fallout: Van Buren. Or maybe Nicole Lazzaro’s “Virtual Reality, Neuropsychology, Fun and the Future of Games” is more down your alley? Would you rather just learn about the newest VR technology from Sony with Project Morpheus or the extraordinary landscapes of Just Cause 3?

Soon you can, because the Nordic Game 2015 program schedule is complete and 20-22 May is just around the corner.

“We’re very excited about the program this year,” says Nordic Game 2015 program director Jacob Riis. “Nordic Game 2015 sets out to explore the most relevant trends in today’s gaming universe and at the same time reveal how game development is diversifying in and can benefit from a rapidly expanding, global industry. That’s far from an easy task, but we have some great speakers to lead the way.”

Ubisoft Annecy studio manager and Malmö native Rebecka Coutaz will present this year’s opening keynote on Wednesday 20 May, followed by more than 70 sessions over three days at Nordic Game 2015. The program includes talks by Oskar Guilbert, DONTNOD Entertainment founder and CEO, Bioware senior writer David Gaider, Brie Code, lead programmer on Child of Light at Ubisoft and Paradox Interactive’s COO Susana Meza Graham, as well as sessions with indie heroes like Tom Happ (Axiom Verge) and Ryan Cash (Alto’s Adventure).

Returning as an exciting part of the Nordic Game experience is Nordic Fast Track, featuring short, to-the-point presentations from a broad range of Nordic game companies. This year Nordic Fast Track includes talks from Rockpocket Studio, Elevator Games, Gleechi, Bedtime Digital Games and Investigate North.

Unity and Microsoft will also each host special one-day tracks while industry leaders Epic, Sony and Google will be well-represented in the NG15 program, bringing the latest technology on stage. New tracks such as “Games and the Law” and “East meets West” will join the popular returning “Investing in Games” as well, promising highly inspirational content.

Expect this and much, much more at Nordic Game 2015. So don’t delay – get your pass now!
