Update: The NGDC submission deadline for Nordic Game Jam in Copenhagen has been extended to 16 April – apply now!
The annual Nordic Game Jam, the “mother of all game jams”, takes place in Copenhagen on 25-28 April. Joining the fun will be the Nordic Game Discovery Contest, returning to the Danish capital for the fifteenth and final qualifying round of this year’s season.
“I’m really looking forward to hosting this qualifier,” says NGDC host and Nordic Game CCO Jacob Riis. “Nordic Game Jam is almost as old as Nordic Game, so we have many fond memories to share. I’m also looking forward to seeing which games make it to the qualifier and how the teams perform on stage. It’s all part of the excitement that defines the NGDC.”
“We’re very happy to welcome the NGDC back to Nordic Game Jam,” says NGJ organiser Victor Selnæs Breum. “Nordic Game Jam is a place for trying out new things and experimenting. We also want to help game developers find their footing in the industry. The NGDC is a great way to take projects to a higher level and really get noticed.”
The NGDC takes the stage at Nordic Game Jam on 25 April from 17:00-18:00. The winning game will earn a seat in the NGDC Grand Finals at Nordic Game 2019, 22-24 May at Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden as well as prizes from PR specialists Plan of Attack and influencer marketing experts Matchmade.
