Update: Follow the NGDC’s second season at discovery-contest.nordicgame.com!
The Quo Vadis organisers in partnership with Nordic Game have announced that their upcoming conference on 24-26 April in Berlin, Germany will host the next leg of the Nordic Game Discovery Contest, in conjunction with their ongoing “Best of Quo Vadis” event. The winner in Berlin will earn a place in the Nordic Game Discovery Contest finals at Nordic Game 2017, 17-19 May 2017 in Malmö, Sweden.
Building on fourteen years of running major successful events in the games industry, including several live-pitching events, selection processes and support systems, Nordic Game launched the Nordic Game Discovery Contest last fall – an exciting, competitive challenge, where selected game projects are showcased at live-pitch events in several countries.
“I think the Nordic Game Discovery Contest is a great opportunity for companies to get their game projects discovered,” says Quo Vadis program director Tobias Kopka. “In (our) ‘Best of Quo Vadis’ event we have already a great, local talent contest here in Berlin, and adding a seat in the (Nordic Game) Discovery Contest finals as a special opportunity for the winner is just fantastic.”
“Quo Vadis is a great event with many exciting German developers participating,” adds Nordic Game program director Jacob Riis. “We’re really thrilled to be part of the ‘Best of Quo Vadis’ event and to be able to invite the winner to join our Nordic Game Discovery Contest finals in May.”
