Athens Game Festival (AGF) debuts on 28-29 October in Athens, Greece and in partnership with Nordic Game, the sixth qualifying round of this season’s Nordic Game Discovery Contest (NGDC) will take place as part of the AGF on 28 October. The winner will earn a place in the Nordic Game Discovery Contest finals at next year’s Nordic Game conference, 23-25 May.
“It’s crucial for indie developers to have the chance to show their projects, to receive feedback and get media attention,” says Athens Game Festival organiser Elina Roinioti. “Nordic Game Discovery Contest is an amazing opportunity for every young, ambitious and talented developer to participate in an exciting competitive challenge and why not, even win. We are truly happy to host NGDC at the Athens Games Festival 2017.”
“We are very happy to be a part of this new industry initiative in Greece,” adds Nordic Game program director Jacob Riis. “The Nordic Game Discovery Contest is designed to help developers getting their projects discovered, and we’re very excited to see which great game projects will arrive from our new partnership”,
