Nordic Game would like to thank all of our NG21 May participants. You played an important role in making our spring show a great success, and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
Below you’ll find some initial statistics from our May event. Though we’ll be taking a well-deserved break for the next few weeks, we’ll be back in July with more details and a first look at the fall edition of NG21 on 3-5 November.
Here’s a breakdown of NG21 May in numbers:
NG21 May registered attendees:
1655 (a record for our online editions!)
NG21 May program (analytics from Vimeo):
3000+ views
7000+ impressions
Total time watched: 33 days, 2 hours, 48 minutes
Average time per view: 1 hour, 21 minutes
Note: The entire program (recorded live sessions and pre-recorded talks) can be viewed by all NG21 May pass holders until the end of June/July. So the numbers above will continue to rise until the end of June/mid-July, when we close the spring program archives and start prepping for the fall edition of NG21 on 3-5 November.
Nordic Game Discord:
607 conference pass holders accessed the Nordic Game Discord server
Nordic Game After-Party on MixUp:
Participant numbers and Nordic Game Awards live stream views (on MixUp) TBA
Nordic Game Awards 2021:
Combining views on Vimeo (conference live stream and post-event recording) with live stream views on PixelTV and Extra Credits, more than 8000 people watched the nominees and winners getting very happy 🙂
MeetToMatch:
1086 confirmed meetings with about 600 conference pass holders participating
Note: According to MeetToMatch, compared to other (non-Nordic Game) online events, there were more participants with more meetings, and Nordic Game remains one of the most successful games industry conferences in the world.
Nordic Game Talents:
Registered job seekers: 519
Registered recruiters/employers: 22 from 15 different companies
Note: Meetings were scheduled last week to be conducted remotely this week. There are now 43 confirmed meetings and 39 pending requests. There are 15 companies with vacancies posted in the system and 22 people recruiting. There are also over 500 job seekers of which 170 are invisible (presumably already employed).
Publisher Market:
There were 63 participants in the Publisher Market (developers & publishers). MeetToMatch planned 419 meetings for them.
That concludes our initial report for NG21 May. Until July, all the best and again thanks so much for being part of our spring edition. See you again in November 🙂
