As NG21 Autumn is getting closer, it’s time to take a look at some of the highlights (this far) for the upcoming online event on 2-5 November.
While there’s still a plethora of great, digital stuff yet to be announced, it’s already confirmed that NG21 Autumn will kick-off with a string of pre-conference activities on Tuesday, 2 November, followed by the full online conference program on 3-5 November.
Kick-starting with recruitment
On 27-29 October (the week before NG21 Autumn), our special recruitment event Nordic Game Talents kicks-off.
Powered by Game Factory Talents, this event is for you if you’re a games industry professional looking to take your career to the next level. Read more and make sure to sign-up; it’s free if you’re a job seeker, with a free pass for NG21 Autumn included!
2 November: And so it begins
Known as “Day Zero” of the conference, it’s become a bit of a misnomer, with so much great stuff happening on the day before the speaker program begins. One of the highlights of course is the popular Publisher Market, where selected game studios meet with a string of global publishers. But even if you’re mostly looking to be informed and entertained, there’s loads to do. Visit our Nordic Game Discord and take part in a wealth of activities and networking events, or simply dive into all of the brilliant talks recorded at our past three online Nordic Game conferences. Yes, with a pass for NG21 Autumn you get access to everything current, plus everything past 🙂
Content is king
On 3 November, the NG21 Autumn live-streamed speaker program begins, and for the following three days this means loads of online presentations, talks, interviews and panels – all designed to be thought provoking, entertaining and to-the-point. Highlights include an opening panel featuring a string of Nordic execs discussing the current state of the industry, Resident Evil Village writer Antony Jonston and the return of Nordic Game favorite Ste Curran, with much more to be revealed in the weeks to come. NG21 program director Jacob Riis will once again be anchoring the online conference from the Nordic Game studio, but expect several co-hosts – not least to mention ever popular Nordic Game speaker Thor Myrdal aka The Thunder God.
Conference activities for NG21 Autumn pass holders include the online program and exclusive pre-recorded sessions, social activities, giveaways and more on Discord, and MeetToMatch with integrated video conferencing (opt-in). But no rule without exceptions – because on Friday, 5 November it’s…
NG21 Autumn will end with a bang, celebrating the twentieth edition of the Nordic Game conference. The live streamed speaker program will be opened to the public, or more specifically the audience following our production partner PixelTV’s channels on Twitch and YouTube. With a special designed program created and co-hosted by PixelTV superstar Thomas Bense, expect a day full of excitement, culminating in the live Nordic Game Discovery Contest Grand Finals, where NGDC Game of the Year crown will be awarded to the season’s ultimate pitch contest winner.
All this and much, much more 🙂 Be sure to buy your NG21 Autumn pass now and join us this November. Welcome to Nordic Game!
