We hope that all of you are doing well given the challenges we’re facing as a result of the Covid-19 coronavirus.
We are reaching out to our community in the region and abroad now because the health and well-being of all of our event participants is very important to us.
We have organised the Nordic Game conference and exhibition each May for sixteen years, so feel that we would be disappointing many of our friends in the industry if we were to cancel or postpone our event this spring.
But in light of the worsening situation in Europe and the US, as well as anticipated restrictions on large public gatherings in Sweden for two months or more, we have been compelled to take action out of concern for both our attendees and partners.
After much deliberation, we have decided to continue with our spring event in a flexible format. NG20 will take place at Slagthuset on 27-29 May in Malmö, Sweden, but for pass holders that can’t be with us in person, portions of the speaker program will be streamed online, with the option to conduct business meetings remotely available as well.
All activities at NG20 on 27-29 May in Malmö, Sweden will strictly adhere to best-practice health precautions.
In terms of the Nordic Game event you have anticipated and many of you already paid for – gathering thousands of industry attendees from the Nordic region and across the globe for exhibitions, award ceremonies, face-to-face meetings and social events – to the extent that it doesn’t happen in May, it will take place in the fall at NG20+ on 25-27 November in Malmö, Sweden.
All NG20 pass holders and partners will be able to participate in both events at no extra cost, with partner brands and messaging promoted at both events this year.
Next year’s edition of the Nordic Game conference and exhibition has also been confirmed for 26-28 May, 2021 in Malmö, Sweden.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause you. At the same time, we are immensely grateful to our many NG20 sponsors, exhibitors, partners, pass holders and friends that have already expressed their understanding and continued support.
We also hope that you will come to look forward to both Nordic Game events in Malmö this year – NG20 on 27-29 May and NG20+ on 25-27 November – as much as we do.
Thank you so much!
