As we’re preparing for this year’s Nordic Game conference in Malmö on 23-25 May, one of the most frequent program requests we have is for speakers who can share real, practical insights on interesting topics within game development.
We hear you! More so than ever, we want to see Fast Track at NG18 filled with concise, “to-the-bone” talks, packed with “lessons-learned” and useful advice.
That’s where you come in 🙂 Have you discovered/created a cool solution/invention/improvement while working on your game(s)? Do you have unique insights into any area of development – programming, design, art, sound, etc. – and/or post-development/distribution – marketing/publishing, games-as-a-service, monetisation, etc. – to share with your fellow developers-in-arms?
If your answer is “yes” then join us at NG18! You’ll contribute a 25-minute Fast Track talk that will rock the audience’s world, and we’ll provide you with a complimentary NG18 speaker pass – as well as one NG18 guest pass, so that you can invite a friend to come along!
Maybe you have a colleague as well whom you feel has some really interesting experiences to share? Don’t hesitate to nominate this person for Fast Track at NG18 – send us an email here with their contact info and we’ll get in touch.
An important note: We don’t expect you to be an expert speaker. Your game development knowledge and experience is the most important thing. As long as you’re willing to share your insights, we’re happy to give you some guidance on how to best to convey your message to the audience (a friendly crowd) at Nordic Game 2018.
NG18 Fast Track submission
Interested? Great! Fill out the Fast Track at NG18 application right here. The deadline for Fast Track submissions is 15 March, so apply now.
We’re grateful for your time and support – we’ll be in touch soon!
A final note: We understand that some proposed talks might contain confidential information or sensitive details for the company you’re working at – but might they be fine with sharing any part of it? Please check that possibility, before you dismiss the idea of giving a talk. By sharing our knowledge, we can all help this industry become better for everyone – beginner as well as expert.
