Dr. Dave is a self-confessed virtual reality pioneer and the CEO of independent VR studio Dream Reality Interactive. Dave was formerly director of Sony’s London Studio, where he oversaw the Japanese publisher’s critically-acclaimed venture into the world of VR on PlayStation. Notable games include Ocean Descent, Dangerball and London Heist, which has been exhibited around the world at key games industry events. Dave is also an active member of the game development industry, holding positions on the BAFTA Games Committee, GDC (San Francisco), VR Developers Conference and the VR World Congress.

Masaru Ohnogi, Gumi
The Future Landscape of Global VR
Masaru Ohnogi is head of global business development at Gumi, one of Japan’s leading mobile gaming companies and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. With partners in Silicon Valley, Gumi established the Venture Reality Fund, 50 million USD in VR investment capital focusing on seed and early stage start-ups as well as Tokyo, Seoul and Nordic VR start-ups. The fund is now organising VR incubation programs in Tokyo, Seoul and Helsinki.
