Finnish Kodamity plans to release their Moomin-themed mobile game Moomin Fun Fest worldwide this summer.
Players build a Moomin house and solve jigsaw puzzles, with the puzzle pieces and seashells used to buy furniture collected through mini-games introduced by Moomin stories.

“The idea came to me almost ten years ago when I was travelling in Tokyo,” says Kodamity’s Antti Peltonen “I noticed that a huge amount of people were playing mobile games to kill time in the train, and I instantly thought that there should be a Moomin game to play.”
Soft launched in Finland this month, Moomin Fun Fest is slated for release on mobile devices across the globe this summer.
