Finland-based learning game studio Lightneer has partnered with Nordic Game Week 2017, 30 October to 5 November in the Nordic countries.
Lightneer’s first title Big Bang Legends is a mobile game that integrates both casual and fun gameplay with educational content about particle physics.
Big Bang Legends learning content includes basic hierarchies of particle physics, culminating in an understanding of the periodic table. The content has been developed together with experts from CERN.

Lightneer is donating Big Bang Legends themed merchandise to organisations participating in the Nordic Game Week Competition. The first 200 organisations to register for the competition will receive small prizes (stickers, reflectors etc.) to share with their patrons and ten competition participants will also win goodie bags including card games, board games, t-shirts, hoodies and more.

Nordic Game Week is theme week about games, game culture and gamers! Nordic Game Week is celebrated from 30 October to 5 November this year.
The purpose of the theme week is to have the public libraries and other organisations from all the Nordic countries to focus on digital games and traditional games as a medium for one week in November. The aim is to promote game literacy and a positive gaming culture.
