Level Up Your Life: Where Gaming, Psychology, and Well-being Collide

AEP: Your Partner on the Path to Esports Excellence
AEP is joining NG24 Spring on 21-24 May in Malmö, Sweden, and besides being a partner for our 20-year jubilee show, they can also be your partner if you’re working in the esports sector. Here is AEP in their own words – you can meet them if you register for NG24 Spring right here: https://nordicgame.com/registration/

Reflecting on Our Journey
At AEP, our passion for gaming ignited a mission. Like many of you, we’re lifelong players who cherish the adventures and lessons digital worlds offer. Yet, we know the challenges – the stress, the need for balance, the pressure to perform.

Our path led us to sports psychology. We realized the same principles helping athletes excel could unlock the potential of esports champions. We’re dedicated to a holistic approach – where players win and thrive, promoting a sustainable esports future.

Impact That Matters

We’ve made an impact since day one! We’ve partnered with top esports organizations and game publishers, shared our expertise on global stages, and conducted groundbreaking research. Working with players, from rising stars to champions, we prioritize well-being just as much as those clutch moments.

But our work extends beyond the pro scene. We believe esports starts at the grassroots. Our youth events empower young gamers from all backgrounds, creating a space of belonging and positive growth.

Challenges and Breaking the Mold

Esports was once a relentless grind. The “no pain, no gain” mentality hurt more players than it helped. But things are changing! Like traditional sports, esports has embraced a support structure that includes sport psychology, which we’re proud to champion.

While some organizations see the value, many more could benefit. That’s why we’re here – to make mental performance a part of every gamer’s toolkit. We teach balance, the impact of sleep, and nutrition, and how these factors shape your in-game experience.

These lessons are crucial for young players. We nurture healthy habits, improve communication, and help create a kinder, more welcoming gaming community for everyone.

A Word to Our Developers

Pressure is part of the gaming world. At AEP, we believe prioritizing well-being leads to happier players AND better games. This holistic perspective is a win-win!

We invite you, the developers, to join us. Understand how psychology can shape the player experience and drive positive change that goes far beyond the screen.
