When registration for NG15 opened, one person was faster than anybody else in the run to secure a 50 per cent discounted entrance pass. A well-known face for many in the Nordic games industry seeking business-related legal assistance.
We really wanted to thank Tommy Persson for his swiftness, and so chatted him up with a few questions.
NG: Congratulations, you were the first to buy an entrance pass for NG15! What made you decide so fast?
TP: A pass to the best and most personal video game conference in the world, at a fantastic discount price for Nordic Game Community members, is a must get! No reason to wait to sign-up.
NG: What will you be doing at the conference?
TP: Negotiate video game contracts, network, meet and greet with old and new friends from all over the world, learn amazing things from the speeches, and be amazed by new fantastic Nordic games!
NG: What do you expect from NG15? Any speaker/topic/event you would like to see in particular?
TP: I’ve learned to expect amazing expected things and even more amazing unexpected things from Nordic Game conferences. No matter what, you always leave a Nordic Game conference with great new knowledge, new friends, with a smile on your face, amazed by how great the Nordic games industry is in general and the Nordic Game conference specifically.
NG: Why should people want to meet you at NG15?
TP: Because I’m the Swedish video game lawyer! I’ve been in the industry for over 15 years, have seen some great games developed from first pitch to contract negotiations to final game and awards and rewards, and have a pretty decent network of friends in the industry, thus if you are new to the industry I can hopefully give some good friendly advice, and recommend who to talk to if you are looking for contacts, help, etc. And if you’re a seasoned veteran with battle scars, we surely have a few stories and jokes to share over a cup of coffee!
NG: Thanks a lot for this Tommy – see you in Malmö!
