Finnish game developer 10tons has announced that their upcoming twin stick shooter JYDGE will launch for PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Store this 3 October in the SIEA region and on 4 October in the SIEE region.
JYDGE is a top-down twin stick shooter game where players build their own cybernetic “JYDGE” to eradicate crime in the never-sleeping megacity of “Edenbyrg”. Play-style varies greatly according to selected JYDGE augmentations, weapon modifications and companion drones. JYDGE is all about player customisation and dozens upon dozens of mini-missions.

”Neon Chrome has been a great success for us, all the way to being (chosen as) a free PlayStation Plus game in June, but some players reported they didn’t fully enjoy the procedurally generated structure of that game. We made JYDGE to address precisely that,” says 10tons CEO and JYDGE lead designer Tero Alatalo. “JYDGE features tons of handcrafted levels, with multiple missions and a crazy amount of character customisation to give the player the tools to complete each and every one.”
