Devcom 2019, Gamescom’s official game developer conference, is just around the corner, from 18-19 August in Cologne, Germany.
The conference program will feature over 130 speakers and more than 100 sessions on nine different stages. Devcom has grown immensely and includes something for everyone this year, featuring top-notch speakers such as keynote Randy Varnell (Gearbox), Cristian Pana, Adam Olsson & Simon Koudriavtsev (Ubisoft Massive), Sybil Collas, Jehanne Rousseau (Spiders), Pia Jacqmart (Cyanide), Charles Cecil (Revolution Software), Goichi “Suda51” Suda (Grasshopper Manufacture), Ryuichi Nishizawa (creator of the Wonderboy series), Benjamin Archard (4A Games), David Santiago & Jason Hickey (Insomniac Games) and many more.
Devcom’s show floor will be packed with numerous exhibitors, including Ubisoft, Microsoft, Nukeygara, CipSoft, Improbable, SMS Group, Maximum Games and many more.
Devcom Heroes Awards
Sunday evening, 18 August will also mark the debut of the Devcom Heroes Awards – a prize awarded to individual representatives from the games industry for outstanding achievements far beyond the screen.
Women’s Networking Breakfast
On Monday morning, 19 August from 9:00-11:00, you’re invited to participate in Devcom’s complimentary Women’s Networking Breakfast, bringing together women from the games industry to meet new people, exchange knowledge and ideas, and take part in several roundtables on various topics.
