Johan Toresson is the first to win a free entrance pass for Nordic Game 2015. Would you like one as well? Then please register with the NG Community, and make sure your colleagues do too. Soon another new member will be touched by the God of Luck… 🙂
NG: Congratulations! You won an entrance pass for NG15, because you were actually the very first to register as a member of the NG Community. Is being a pioneer a part of your job?
JT: Being a business developer over at Gameport makes sure that I’m always out looking for new opportunities to interact with the rest of the games community. I’m an early adopter in general. Also – who wouldn’t wanna be first to sign-up for the Nordic Game Community? Now I can relax, hang low and return in five years and talk about how things were way better in the beginning. ;P
NG: Which content or features would you like to see included in the future development of the Nordic Game Community?
JT: The Square has a nice little developer list, and is also working on profiling the teams. Maybe that could be a nice addition? Also: PR and marketing discussions!
NG: What do you expect from next years’ Nordic Game conference? Any speaker/topic/event you would like to see in particular?
JT: I’d love to see Cara Ellison and hear her talk about the new wave of games journalism (Update: Check!). Zoë Quinn and her thoughts on FMV games. Alexander Bard on syntheism. Henrike Lode on the success of Machineers.
The event could perhaps benefit from a chill-zone with a bar and some local multiplayer games? A “kick-it to pitch-it” competition where you have to beat the publishers in Nidhogg to win a pitch time!
NG: Got it and thanks Johan, we’re looking forward to seeing you back at the conference in lovely Malmö next year!
Nordic Game 2015 will be held on 20-22 May at Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden, just 21 minutes by train from Copenhagen Airport. Register now!
