The Games Capital Summit returns to Nordic Game 2022 – a rare opportunity for venture-ready companies to connect directly with VCs actively investing and seeking opportunities in the games sector. The Games Capital Summit takes a hands-on approach, with a focus on mentoring.
Games Capital Summit this May
Hosted by Nordic Game Ventures, the Games Capital Summit enables entrepreneurs to both connect with potential investors and learn what it takes to be investable.
Among our confirmed investors are well-established old friends, like London Venture Partners, old friends with new funds, such as Behold Ventures and well-established investors that are more new to Games Capital Summit and our region, for example Joystick Ventures.
Event focus
The Games Capital Summit focuses on equity funding, which implies that the investors are interested in funding companies directly in exchange for shares in your company. This summit is NOT the right venue for those mainly seeking project funding or that need a game publisher. Alternatives for project financing and meeting publishers are Publisher Market and MeetToMatch during the Nordic Game conference.
Format and logistics
The Games Capital Summit takes place on Tuesday, 17 May as a day-zero activity of Nordic Game 2022 (NG22 Spring, 17-20 May). The action starts during lunch, with the following afternoon of pitches, feedback and mentoring sessions, closing with a VIP cocktail, joining up with the Nordic Game Exec event participants.
Each company selected to participate will pitch in front of the panel of investors, receiving questions and feedback. Once all companies have pitched, they will be paired up with different investors for round-robin style 30-minute meeting/mentoring sessions.
• 12:00-13:30 – Group lunch and opening keynote
• 13:00-18:00 – Pitching, feedback and mentoring sessions
• 18:00-20:00 – Exec VIP cocktail and buffet mingle

Eligibility and submissions
Entrepreneurs seeking funding for their company based on an opportunity in the game sector (i.e. game, tech, service, platform, etc.) are welcome to apply to the Games Capital Summit at NG12 Spring via this online application form here. The deadline is midnight CET on Monday, 9 May, so apply now!
You need to be logged into your Google account to upload the necessary files, and you will also be our sole contact at your company for this event.
Note: There is no cost to apply. Submissions are filtered and prioritised based on the awesomeness of the opportunity and suitability for venture funding. Only those companies selected are invited to pitch and participate in the Games Capital Summit.
Selected companies are also given two complementary passes to the Nordic Game 2022 (NG22 Spring) conference. Extras like MeetToMatch access, Discovery Showcase tables, etc. can be purchased separately.
