Nordic Game 2015 partner GameDuell has a special message for Nordic Game 2015 attendees:
GameDuell looking to grow its team in Berlin – Designing mass-market multiplayer games for mobile
GameDuell will be present at Nordic Game conference for the first time! Founded in 2003, the Berlin-based gaming company specializes in mass-market multiplayer games with a cross-platform approach. In order to drive further the various exciting projects and games within that scope, GameDuell is looking to further grow its team with skilled professionals, ranging from mobile game developers to game designers and artists. At booth number A 25 in the conference centre, GameDuell will inform about the career options at their lively headquarters in the heart of Berlin. Some looks behind the scenes and all open positions are available on the company’s website. Everybody showing up at the GameDuell booth will get a cute Fluffy bird and a GameDuell paper notebook!
During the conference, GameDuell’s Product Manager Mobile Daniel Kromand will give a speech about the challenges of creating compelling multiplayer experiences for the mass-market on mobile devices. On Wednesday, May 20th, at 12:45, he will discuss successful and unsuccessful design patterns of existing multiplayer games and compare them to various prototypes developed at GameDuell. Based on the results of focus group testing, he will explain how game design should be customised to better fit the usage patterns of a broader mass-market audience.
