Kate Edwards, one of Fortune magazine’s “10 Most Powerful Women” in the games industry, will be joining Nordic Game 2016. Back in 2009, Edwards gave one of the most memorable talks in Malmö that year, so it’s with great pleasure that we’re able to welcome her back this May.
Currently IGDA (International Game Developers Association) executive director and an accomplished applied geographer, writer and corporate strategist, Edwards is also founder of and principal consultant at Geogrify, a Seattle-based consultancy for content culturalisation.
Her presentation at NG16, “Maximising Locales and Managing Mobs: Strategies for Game Culturalisation” will shed light on the concept of “culturalisation” – a process by which content is adapted for a globally diverse audience with widely varying local expectations.
Meet Kate Edwards at NG16 in Malmö, Sweden, on 18-20 May. Another great reason to register now at conf.nordicgame.com!
