This year’s recipient of the Elisabeth Tegner scholarship, Frostbite developer Mehrnaz Amanat Bari, was announced at the Womengineer Awards.
The scholarship was started last year to recognise female role models within tech and games in Sweden.
Mehrnaz Amanat Bari received the award for her achievements in the games sector, including being the first female programmer at Paradox Interactive, and for her work as an educator with Tjejer Kodar and Tekla, inspiring more women to start coding and enter the industry.
