Finland’s Frogmind Games and Supercell were the Nordic winners at this year’s International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA) on Wednesday night at GDC in San Francisco.
Frogmind Games’ Badland 2 got the award for “Excellence in Gameplay”, and Supercell’s Clash Royale took home the award for “Best Upcoming Game”.

“This year again, the IMGA honours the hard work of thousands of developers and highlights the next generation of games to rise above,” said IMGA founder Maarten Noyons in a press release.
The IMGA “Grand Prix” went to game developer Sam Barlow for the game Her Story – which also won the awards for “Excellence in Innovation” and “Excellence in Storytelling”.
