Space shooter action game Xenoraid from Finnish developer 10tons is now available for iOS devices on the iTunes App Store. Xenoraid is free to download and includes one in-app purchase to unlock the full game.
Xenoraid is a vertically scrolling shooter with a fresh take on the genre, accessible to all action game fans with no prior experience required in SHMUP (shoot’em up) or bullet-hell games. The missions are procedurally-driven with no memorisation requirements, and real-time fighter/squadron management features give the game a strategic dimension, while three survival levels with online leaderboards provide additional replay value.
“The last premium game we released for iOS, Neon Chrome, did exceptionally well by selling 10,000 units in two weeks,” said 10tons Ltd. CEO Tero Alatalo. “We hope Xenoraid becomes another example of how a mobile game doesn’t have to be free-to-play to do well.”

The free-to-play version of Xenoraid features ten campaign missions and one (of three) endless “Survival” missions (playable by watching video ads). One in-app purchase removes all ads permanently and unlocks the rest of the campaign missions as well as two additional “Survival” missions.
